My last post was my 2000th here on Bladeforums. I will be honoring the milestone with a give away for traditional knife lovers. I will post the knife to be given away here by this Saturday whence the give away will officially begin. I have ordered a knife specially for the occasion (a Case single blade sowbelly with sunset winterbottom covers).
I want to thank everyone that has been a part of this special corner of the internet for an educational and entertaining time here.

Edit: The knife arrived today (11/3/12), and it looks good. The cutting edge will need to be touched up as it is just so-so. I'll leave it to the new owner to decide what he/she wants to do about that.
This knife is good, brand new and not carried or sharpened. It has good snap in both directions and feels great in the hand. The sunset winterbottom covers are really nice looking.
Now the official rules:
Qualifications: You must be a registered member and have 50 posts in this subforum to be eligible to win over and above the posts here to be “in” a giveaway. It doesn’t matter if you have only 50 posts total on Bladeforums; you must have at least 50 posts in traditionals.
If you have over 500 posts in this subforum you can register for an additional chance.
If you are a paid (basic or above) member, you can register for an additional chance. The 50 post minimum does still apply though.
If I pick your number and you do not have enough posts (over the “I’m in” ones), then I’ll pick another winner. If you are not sure what this means send me a PM. I am opening this giveaway up to any country to which the United States Postal Service will deliver a package.
Notice:
• If you reside in a country that USPS (United States Postal Service) will not deliver, do not opt into this giveaway.
• If the knife in the giveaway is not legal for you to own in your country or is subject to seizure by your customs (or ours for that matter), then do not opt in to this giveaway. It is up to you to know the regulations governing knives in your country.
And no, you do not have to post photos of yourself, your wife, your girlfriend or boyfriend, or pet or any of those kind of things. Just read the qualifications post “I’m in” and you’re in. If you want to share anything with the group in the post that is fine, but it is not a requirement.
