You can get tickets at the door. You might try to sniff around here for free VIP passes. There have been people who have offered them on the forums in various posts.
All of mine have been handed out or I'd give you one.

Hey Tom,
You've been to both I'm sure. How would you rate the Blade show and the OKCA show which is now the biggest in the world? Is the Blade Show easier to get around? I remember you posted the OKCA was just TOO BIG. Thanks.
 
this is my first east coast knife show ever. from what I can gather they are close to the same size, but the Blade Show definitely has a lot more going on. Atlanta is a LONG way from Waialua.......

I'll be taking pictures again this year of all the new stuff I can find and some of the makers. Pictures will be posted in the General section upon my return.

As Dexter is trying to get everyone pumped, here are a couple of pictures of last years show. The pictures were taken prior to the official opening of the doors (hence noone there) on Thursday from in front of the Bladeforums/1SKS booth. While it gives you an idea of the scope and size, even in three pictures I didn't get the whole room in the shot.

Nice pics. If you look in the center picture, almost exactly in the middle, you will see a huge man with a black vest and a hat on. That behemoth would be John Fitch. Hell of a nice guy and a great maker too. Man, I am hyped! Dont know how much cash I will have scraped up, but I will still be there.
