2002 Discontinued Models/SKUs List

Sal posted the new 2002 lineup over on the other forum, so I reverse engineered a discontinued models list by comparing it to the 2001 catalog. We knew that some of these were coming, and suspected others. If any of these are on your shopping list, it is time to stock up:

C07G Police G10
C09 Co-Pilot
C14 Rescue (being replaced with a new design in 2002)
C30 Remote Release
C44 Dyad
C52 Calypso Jr. (SS)
C52BK Calyso Jr. (FRN)
C46 Lum Tanto G10 (satin blade) *black blade SKU remains in production
C48 Wegner
C55 Starmate
C58 JD Smith
 
I hate that they got the Wegner :(

But the good news is that they are making the Impala and the Ocelot. That kind of makes up for it. ;) Now all I have to do is wait and save my money.

I agree about the Wagner. I guess that I have to readjust my production knife "wish list".

BUT they are making the Ocelot!!!:cool:
 
I can't believe, that the starmate is going to be discontinued.
It's my EDC and I'm happy I've got a spare one already.

WHY CALYPSOS???

Best knife (ltwt) under 100$! I'm happy to own all calypsos but what about knifeuser generations to come?

Starmate? I've allways belived that Starmate is one of best selling custom collaborations.

I never thought I'd see the Starmate, Wegner and G-10 Police models bite the dust. The lightweight Calypso Jr. too?! GEEZ!!:(
