Thanks so much for releasing a plain edge version of the Flash early on! Judging by the number of "upgrade" semi-serrated versions on the list, it looked like it was an uphill battle. I guess most knife nuts are into plain blades, and the general population goes for the semi-serrated stuff. Probably because the knife nuts own a sharpener and use it!:D

You're right on the money here. SOG is reaching that "greater" knife market. If we were only targeting knife connoisseurs, we'd make 158 knives targeted directly to those who really know what they're doing, charge $895.95/each, then close our business because of low sales. ;) Don't get me wrong, all our knives need to be outstanding representations of a good knife design with great materials, but the target marketing nitch will include quite a large number of those ignorant about knives (and knife maintenance).
