I did a quick search and did not get any hits on this. Sorry if I am asking a redundant question.

Has anyone heard what the Case Tony Bose 2003 knife is going to be?

Thanks in advance

I have heard rumors of a stockman. Can't say for sure tho. Should know by around May or so. That is usually when they are released. We'll find out pretty soon.

Pretty sure it will be over rated and overpriced, just like the others.

If it is a stockman, then I would guess that the demand will probably exceed the supply (more so than usual since stockman fans have been patiently waiting in the wings for a Case/Bose). I hope they can build it within the $300 - $325 price range (wishful thinking). Keep us informed--I don't want to snooze and lose.

Good lord! 300+ bucks? where you all shop. Over rated is a little harsh, last years Bose was a sweet knife only complaint I have about it is a slip joint and the style of the knife really needs to have a lock for when using it, of course I assume most people buy them to collect I just like the look and feel of it, makes a nice EDC and looks cool with the hook of the blade. Truly makes a perfect pruner.

Maybe I was a bit harsh. They do seem to be nice knives, but the prices being charged is way overboard.

Maybe I was a little harsh in Saying you were being a little harsh. :) Say that real quickly 5 times. Anyway I was just saying they are good knives, better fit and finish than the rest of Case's knives and limited in their production enough that that you can buy one and it will retain it's value and then some in the future. But what something is worth depends on 2 things: Is it worth it to YOU, and is the product going to retain its price in the future. If a knife is sold for $1000 dollars today and then a year from now is worth $200 then the $1000 was not a worthy price, but if in a year it's still worth a $1000 or more than I guess the price may have been right. I don’t know I just like knives; all this is way to much thinking for me.

By the way where you been Dan?

Maybe I'm a little harsh thinking that NGK was a little harsh for saying that Danbo was a little harsh for saying...huh? Oh, never mind. I just hope no one else adds on another "harsh" word. ;)

Danbo and NGK, I agree with both of your points of views. Unfortunately, supply and demand will probably move the street price toward $300+. I think most buyers will not be investing for speculative profit but instead will be buying because of a need to possess a medium priced, limited edition Case/Bose. A custom Bose is realistically unobtainable because of price and availability for most people, including me.

I would like to see a Case/Bose with more than 2 blades for the same money. So long as they are ATS-34. At one time, I heard about the sowbelly about to be released only to find out later that it was just going to be one of their common stock knives. That was a little bit of a let down. I was really expecting a nice sowbelly. The rumors were only partially correct.
