2004 - 2018 Endura 4 - any difference?

Hello, I believe I have managed to obtain a BNIB old stock 2004(ish) Endura 4 C10SBK with original old grey Spydy box, with the capital letters EG beneath the word Endura on the side of the box, on a black print on yellow sticker..., Seki City, VG-10.

What was the date when the Endura 4's were introduced?
Are there any discernible differences between a first run Endura 4 and one made today?

Wow, it's been in the 4 for that long? Crazy.

That's a good question and I'd be interested in the answer too, I would think since they are still on the 4 there wouldn't be much difference if any.
 
I would be willing to wager a small sum of money that there have been at least half a dozen changes made in that period of time. CQI is not a myth. Spyderco makes rolling (undocumented) changes all the time. They may not be apparent to the naked eye, but they are there.
