I am not asking for value. That would be against the rules at my membership level. :)

I would like to know if a standard production 2005 Buck 110 (first year they was made in Idaho) has any special "collector value" or interest over one made prior to 2005 in California, (I suppose the 2004 might have a little "collector value"/interest as the last year of the California made knives?) or a post 2005 standard production 110. (With the possible exception of the nothing fancy only has the 50'th Anniversary shield 110 that was sold at Walmart, way, way, way back in 2014. As far as I am aware, the shield only Anniversary version has no special "collector" value or interest.)

Anyway, I have a 2005 110 complete with no original receipt, (I don't think I still have the secondary(?) receipt from the pawnshop I bought it at maybe 5 years ago, either) sheath, paperwork, or box.

Will carrying and using my 2005 Buck 110 "hurt" whatever "collector value" or interest it may have, presuming I don't do something stupid like bust the tip off?
I have a couple post 2005 110's that can loan the 2005 their nylon sheath, so I can carry it.

I think the tang stamp(outline of the state of Idaho) that Buck used has given the 2005 production a certain desirability. I don't know if that is enough to rate it as a collectors item and increase it's value. Best way to find out is to check that big auction site for sold listings.

I have the three versions of the anniversary knife First: No Buck Knife
Second: No Buck tang and Buck Medallion
Third: 50th Anniversary tang and Medallion
