2005 Vegas Show

The 2005 Las Vegas Classic knife show will at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. This will be held in conjunction with the Antique Arms Show. Set up will begin on Thursday January 27th. The show is Friday the 28th through Sunday the 30th.

I could not go to Las Vegas at the right time 2 years ago, But this time I have just learned when this show will be run, and I have found the time and money to go and see what's new in knives there.

Yes,

Just got my paperwork today and it confirms that the AAS will be there and it will be the same weekend as SHOT. Vegas should be insane!

The only thing I don't like is that we will be in the same room as the AAS. While I did not mind being in the same hotel, being in the same room is a put off. The AAS tends to look like a swap meet with very cluttered tables full of alot of junk. This could bring down the high end image of the Vegas Classic. If they are smart they will put up dividing walls to seperate the two events.

Its a shame that, for the most part, the gun show crowd puts almost no thought to presentation. When milk crates count as dispay racks, there is a problem.
