2006 BAKCA Show: Exact Dates?

It looks like the BAKCA.org site has gone dark (hopefully just a domain name renewal issue) and I've seen two different dates, August 19-20 and August 26-27 on the web. Location seems to be set at the Crowne Plaza Cabana, 4290 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, Calfornia. Anybody have the definitive answer as to when the BAKCA show is going to be held? Thanks in advance.

I've been the last couple and it is always a nice turnout of custom makers, dealers and suppliers. Sure hope that this years show is on.

I also have the same question because I really don't want to miss this nearby annual event.

I called the Palo Alto Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel, and they confirmed with me that it's going to take palce on next weekend, August 19th and 20th.

However, I'm still not very sure because the BAKCA website seems to be down recently.

Can some insiders provide more informations? Please.

Me too! With gas prices as they are here in the Valley, a long trip for naught could ruin my day. Oh well, I can always take a look at Stevens Creek Surplus for the new model blades. I'm banking on the 19th unless I hear otherwise. Keep us updated fellas! Thanks!

BACKA is on Aug 19th & 20th.


I won't be there this year...but hope to meet up with some of you there next year. :thumbup:

The clubs old website has been closed www.bakca.org. A new website was to be up and running, but delays have prevented the opening.
