2007 Batac limited. Classic example of the design?

Hey guys, I have very little experience with Busse except to say that I've had a few and I should never have sold them!

Anyway, my favorite was a fat Batac that I picked up from a member here. My word, that knife was incredible. I've looked to replace it and want to get as close as I can.

The 2007 limited is listed at .27....is that as fat as they came? I want a beast!

Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

My BATAC LE is the thickest BATAC I've seen (mine's about 0.25"). The standard CGs were 0.187".

I have a 2007 or 8 SE and it’s pretty thick. I’ll have to throw the calipers on it

According to badmojo, the .27 is the thickest - looks like there are several variants of it.

The BATAC LE and Special Edition 2007 were the thickest at .26-.27 depending on the knife. I am sure they use the same blank both of them are FFG. A lot of INFI in a small package.

Thanks guys....I LOVED the heft of that big Batac and want exactly that. Such a beautiful design and feel.
