My 111 arrived last evening, a few suprises in the box. The knife itself, is what I expected, nice fit & finish, smooth action,lock-up & matched inlays. The surprise is the 111 sheath, cut at angle, to match the arch of the bolster. I like it. The new COA adds a nice touch for collectors too! Keep up the great work at Buck Knives.

WOW those look great!
I should have ordered... no too many others to buy ;)

Thanks for the pics, she's a beauty!!

I was tempted...but as usual lately, there was too much excess...Etching, polishing, finger grooves...None of that appeals to me... :(

I'm actually looking for a plain Jane 111...Maybe with ironwood... :)

I like the new angle too...I cut the flap off at a matching angle to make it a open top, then trimed most of the leather around the snap and put that back on.It makes it easer to put in/out and really showes off the NS bolsters plus about 3/8" of the scales.....I wore it to the Tampa Bay play-off game today and it felt really secure!Cutting off the top made it ride closer and more snag free...Ill post a pic of the mod ,It really looks cool ! I took a black sharpie to all the raw edges for a finished /factory look.

...I'm right there with Trax on this...Never was able to get excited about the "baubles, bangles or beads" on some of the recent knives...Plain and real functional is good...

Ditto on the idea of a clean blade. I may go nuts on custom scales and bolster engraving, but I much prefer an unadorned blade.

Hey John...
Ya asked in another thread for the pic.
Here it is.
This knife is a knife to "look" at. I may have liked to use it as an EDC as I don't have another 111 (except the ol' skool Classics)...but the mirror finish and tattoo....dunno.

"Come on feller's" You just need to have a wall hanger or two!!! The one's with the tattoo's are just to cool to use....and the mirror finish is to admire yourself in as you handle the knife....LMAO.

Thanks for the photo Goose...my BCCI 111 needs to have more caricature in the stag. Hay Scott...can you post a photo of your knife so I can continue to be jealous of your knife also. See good things come to those who wait....and wait....and wait...;):p.

Thanks Tin Sue!

Was told that all were being shipped right before I received mine...I am guessing you will be getting your's this week...so, you see? The best for last ;)

I absolutely love my BCCI 111 !!! The knife is outstanding in every detail and I just couldn't be happier with it. Like jb sez; it is a collector's special and the baubles gotta be on this one! Especially appreciate the #728/200 etched on the blade! A real custom knife and pride of ownership in being a part of the Club!
