Trying to photograph that blade etch, reminded me how much I HATE mirror polish blades................. :D
(I had to take about 12 pic's to get this one, notice in the first pic' that blade etch is almost invisible.)

It's growing on me, but I still think that with the Rosewood and mirror finish, it looks like a Camillus #9

Thanks for the close-ups TLC. Can't wait to pick up one or two of these. It really does resemble your Camillus #9, which isn't a bad thing in my opinion.

Hummmmm,,,,,,,no date code,,,,so does that make it a pre '86 :rolleyes::rolleyes:

almost looks like a modified clip??

Good Pics LC !!:thumbup:

I noticed there was a big differance in the grain, and color in the 110s at the WM here..Some darker and 1 or 2 had a lot of figure <sic>Is there normaly much differance? anybody else see this ?

bucksaway, yes i did. i didn'tknow which was better so i grabbed a very red one.

Great looking knife,the blade shape does seem a little different,To me at least but I like it.

I bought a cammilus #9 second a few years ago for $7,not bad at all,very solid knife,,,but I think the buck looks better:D;)

The blade is the same as any other 110, I think it's the angle I had to shoot the pic' from to avoid glare that folks are seeing.

:cool:...I agree TLC...I think the angle of the photo makes it appear that the false edge is gone...Nice knife huh?...:thumbup:

Yeah, that blade was a b***h to photograph, glad I went digital and didn't have to pay to develop the bad shots!

The more I look at it, it's really starting to grow on me, the rosewood scales are pretty cool.

can you PLEASE send me the UPC Code so someone at Walmart can tell me if they have them?????????

well for what it is worth ..
the 2ed verson tang stamp seems to be from a run out and replaced with std marked blades OR it is a pre wally stamp ready like a test run issue!!!
for the most detailed collector he would have to have both..
this wourd not be the first time buck ran out of "correct" blades and subed another blade.
example is the ""110 with a Ti frame"" or is it a 560 with a 110 blade?
{{{i go with the fromer }}}
in this case it is hard to tell which come first ... wally stamp and ran out OR
year mark stamp tell the wally stamp was ready...
we shall have to wate for one of our buck elvises or Joe to come on and give us the
"offical" verson...
how about it POST FALLS ?
whatttttttsssssssss up?

Either way, let's not lose sight of the really important issue here, this gives us all an excuse to buy another 110!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
