2007 SE Steel Hearts

I have one of those!

It's the third one down

I had 2 ASH-1's like that, at separate times...they were in the "too pretty to use" given what else I had and ended up selling both...one of the best feeling blades from Busse, although I am partial to the non-mag raptor set-ups all around...and the knives of that era are still my favorite by and large.

Up for your viewing pleasure. Double Cut Special Edition Steel Hearts from
the 2007 BLADE Show. Enjoi
Those are 2 good looking knives! There did not seem to be as many of the FSH 2007 SE compared to the ASH1 2007 SE - I never did get the FSH, but I have enjoyed the ASH1.

Seems like just yesterday that I was packing those things up to take to Blade Show. Time sure flies in Busse Land.

I feel exactly the same way: It doesn't seem that long ago since I was at BLADE and then I check the dates and it was 7 years ago! Time goes by faster the older I get.

This is so true. I remember growing up and thinking how long it took to get through the school year. Now I'm 40 and I blink and the year is gone.

I think we all perceive this effect. But then, when you were 10, the school year and associated summer represented precisely one-tenth of all the time that you had spent on earth to date. At 40, that same year's time period is of course only one-fortieth of one's cumulative life experience on the planet Earth. Naturally one perceives that it passes much more quickly! Now, just think what your perception of that year's period of time will be at 100 years of age (assuming you've got all your marbles!).

Very true. I can remember thinking I would never be 16 (old enough to drive a car), and now decades have passed since then.
