2008 119 Leather handle

SWEEEEETTTTTT.... I am not a 119 collector, but I may NEED one of those ;)

Thanks EEE!

Nice knife! Pic don't get no bigger when I click it twice than when I click it once...:D

Triple E...
AWESOME.

When you are done with the photos of the two, I will give the twin a new home.

Man that looks great, but I have to say I'd rather it didn't have the three spacers. They just don't seem to fit in there somehow. I wish I could get one without them.:(

I tried my local Wally World... they didn't have that version. Is it clam shell packed - or boxed? Maybe in a collector's tin? More than the regular 119, I'm betting. I guess I should have asked these questions ... yesterday??

Seriously - nice looking 119. I wonder why they don't make a different blade material version 119?

Hi Blue Sky;
A few years back LL Bean offered Buck Knives specially made with what you describe; the conventional 119 with the leather spacers substituting the phenolic with no other changes! :thumbup: Also offered by Buck/LL Bean were the 103 as above and a variation of a Marbles Woodcraft-design in the same configuration. It takes some looking and some time, but they do surface occassionally. A word of advice(?), start saving your change now ;)

Why does this part make me nervous?! :D

Relax, Blue Sky, it's only money :p Naw, I got a really good deal on mine, from a very good Friend, an MIB!!! Too bad the last one to sell on auction had a bit of use and went pretty reasonable because of it, but now is when you find out what to look for.....ain't that life? ;) MIBs recently tend to go around $200 btw.
