2008 forum knife order thread

I spoke with Dave Shirley at Northwoods again and he has had to requote the knife as the price for stag has increased.

I apologize for this inconvenience. I wish now that I had been following this more closely.

The knife is a medium stockman with stag handles and a 1095 blade. Rounded bolsters.

"Knife price is $54.00 Stag is $30.00 = $84.00 for 100 pcs. For 50 to 65 pcs. the price is $89.00.
This is for the Stockman (3-1/4" closed). Dave"

It is time to commit and pay so we can get the down payment to Northwoods.
You must commit and pay by June 28th. On Monday, June 30th, I will send a money order for 25% of the cost to Northwoods.

I would like it very much if everyone would use a postal service money order. I can link the serial number in the spreadsheet to the person, forum name, and address.

Please make the amount 89+7.15= 96.15.
This assumes we will be between 65 knives and 100. If we hit 100 and get the discount, we can refund money back.
The Shipping cost represents priority mail, with insurance and delivery confirmation.

Once we have the money collected, I would like to accept the help offered by a member. James, I will PM you for details.

International members, please email me. I have spoken to a couple who have difficulty with the money orders and we will have to make arrangements individually. We will also sort out the added shipping costs.

Again, when you mail the money order, please give me your name, forum name, and address. I will acknowledge receipt in this thread on a list.

Last thing. Please submit the design for the blade etch to me to get to Dave.


I am sorry for the delays that have led to having to have it requoted. I would like move this forward by months end.

Small Stockmen that I have seen are usually around 2 5/8's (under 3").

Thanks for the update. I hate like hell to do this but unless something changes PDQ, I am going to have to decline on this one this go-round. I will send you a quick e to explain.
