First off, it was a banner year for knife collecting for me. I got bit by a long time bug in a big way.

I have met a ton of new friends here, and I have received a ton of help seeking answers and collectibles that I have been looking for over the past few months.

I appreciate the opportunity to get to know most of you, and I am proud to be a member of this community.

I would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Kershaw for continuing to offer the very best in innovation, variety, service, and most importantly RESPECT for their customer base.

You all have my gratitude.

To all: I would enjoy hearing your personal thoughts on the year related to the hobby.

I too have made some new friends here this year. Both good and bad. :)
Probably pick up more new knives than I ever have before.
I'm glad Thomas is with us here and now Tommie is aboard posting a little more frequently. ;)
The "Kershaw" guys, not just the Family, have kept my interest in Kershaw's offerings, be it
from asking questions or giving how-to's about things I didn't know.
It has been a decent year for me both personally and financially.

I too, want to Thank everyone that has contributed to this sub-forum, positive or negative.

Hope you all find yourself and your family well this holiday season and throughout 2009.

(too bad this isn't W&C, I had some good thoughts) :D

Well I really just started learning about knives at the begging of the year and halfway trough it I discovered BladeForums, :o then I stepped on some toes when I was a newbie, (I would like to apologize to any one I offended, I went back and reread some of my earlier posts and man I was a PITA), and now I got spell check :D so I can be a little bit more literate. Also my knife collection went from old slippies and some handed it down made in Pakistan lockbacks to a Spyderco and a Kershaw.

Heres hoping next year will be better

I just recently found this forum, but find it to be a great resource with a lot of helpful people. As far as knives go, I have found Kershaws to be the perfect mix of cost, form and function, and can see why they have such a large and loyal following. I look forward to not only growing my collection, but learning from, and sharing with everyone here.

I wish everyone the best of the season, and hope that 2009 brings you all health and happiness.

'Tis Christmas Eve, and I would like to offer a sincere and heartfelt Thank You to all!

First, To Thomas. You have done more than I could ever expect. For me personally and the forum. If not for you, Kershaw would simply be the best production knife made. You are the alloy that keeps us crazy carbides together. Without you Thomas, we wouldn't be here. Please keep this thought in the back of your mind as the days go on.

And to Tim who moderated this forum for a while. Great knives Brother! Keep up the good work, and keep an eye on Thomas when you're out together. I hear you're a hoot to party with, and some day I hope to have that chance.

To Craig Green. What else can be said, except you do a damn fine Mr. Roboto! I'm sure you have a purpose in Tualatin, but what it is is beyond me! Seriously Craig, keep that place together. And don't take any carp from GG!

Next is Tommie, who I believe still doesn't exactly know what to think about us. Tommie, keep on thinking about knives. You have an eye for them. Let it grow. And we're not all that bad! Anyone that calls Thomas "copper top" is OK with me!

To The Family. We came together when we needed to, and for this I am extremely thankful. There is a bond here that can't be described, and can never be broken. It is special, as it should be. You are all my Brothers, and I will never forget these bonds.

To the Kershaw Sub Regulars. You guys are great. You are the real reason the rest of us are here Your desire for the best production knives made is apparent, and it hasn't gone without notice.

To all the noobs that have just discovered the world of Kershaw, be you 1 post or 20, stick around. You ain't seen nothing yet!

May the season bring you all the best, and Dio La benedice ognuno ed ogni uno! La Pace della Stagione sia con ognuno ed ogni uno di Lei, e Lei trova la pace nello Spirito

Buon Natale a tutto, ed a tutta una buona notte.

Aww hell, I love you guys!! :D

It's been a great year for the Kershaw sub. Made some friends,
pissed a few off...........I ain't done yet either. ;)

We've had some great new members show up this year. Phillip

name is(;)) and a whole lot of other names that slip my mind
right now.

It's just great to be part of this large Kershaw family sharing our
love for knives and having fun while we're at it.

GG, thanks for hanging in here with us, and I don't care what DV
says about you behind your back,(;)) you're a first class act in my book.

Y'all keep'em sharp, and Merry Christmas to everyone!!

Thank you all for making this the best spot on Bladeforums, from when we needed a good laugh, to serious tinkering and embellishment.

Thank you Thomas for helping out all of us, and listening to our wild ideas.

Merry Christmas!

I have only been here a few months and I have to say it has been great!
Thanks to everyone who has helped me and answered my questions.
I am happy I could be a part of it all.

Year in review eh? lets not go there...

LOL. In all seriousness guys, it has been a interesting year to say the least. The inside jokes have been had and are still being had, knives have been won and given away at a sometimes crazy pace, lots of new guys coming in and becoming regulars, Mike finally getting all the Jimmie Choos in the 08 catalog, Brad realizing that his microwave does in fact speak to him. What a year to say the least

I just want to say thank you all for the support in the behind the scenes stuff. It has been a very stressful year to say the least for me personally. This forum has been an escape and you guys are the reason. Wouldnt trade it for the world!

Have a great holiday guys, and dont cut yourselves on any new toys or with the toys being used to open the new toys :p :p :p *unless you are Dann, then its a gimmie already*

What's a year in review without pics? :D
