Who's going to be there??? :)

I have a table, and I am SO excited about this show. All the great attributes of the show in Reno + a bunch of improvements.. but in San Antonio... it should be an AMAZING show.

It might seem early to be talking about it, but it's only 6 months away.

I'd like to hear from folks that have been in the area and have ideas on "must see/must do's."

I'll have a bit of time off between the end of summer quarter and fall quarter, and would like to spend a few extra days seeing the sights in San Antonio.

If Blade falls through, this would be my alternate. Haven't been to San Antonio in years and it would be nice to get back. I was only there for a weekend, so I didn't see much beyond the riverwalk and the Alamo. But being a history buff, the Alamo alone was worth the trip. Adding a fantastic knife show on top of that, well, :D:D:D

Jon- that is my tentative plan ;) :D Are you going to ride a motorcycle from New York to Texas??? I think you should!

Roger- not to thwart your Blade plans, but I sure hope to see you this year... one way or the other :D

I will definitely be there. I guess I'll leave a few days early as I will be driving......................................It's 60 miles:):p;)

Awesome, it will be great to meet you Paul! I better get my ass in gear so I can have something to send you BEFORE the show so that I can have it on my table :D Sorry you've got such a long trip though. According to google, my drive would only be 2,207 miles more than your 60 miles ;)

Well, I live there (here:p) so, unless I'm out of town that weekend, I'll be there.
 
:p So Nick are you actually going to get on the plane this time :p every one stop by and say hi when you get tired of looking at Nicks empty table.

Reno was one of my favorite shows, and I only
see San Antonio as being better.
 
I have wanted to go back to San Anton for many years. I spent the first half of my first ten years of life there. This is the best reason I have had since then to return. I'm certainly going to try.
 
I bet Nick isn't going to travel over 2000 miles without bringing a table full of knives. ;) :thumbup: :)
 
I'm pretty sure Nick will have a knife to take with him. He's only got six months though, so it probably won't be anything fancy. Maybe a hunter:D
 
I was thinking about having about 300 knives on my table and doing sharpening demonstrations all week-end.

Maybe even a "buy one, get 5 free deal." ;)
