I just had to show this one off. Just picked it up tonight, had to drive 5 hours total, but got to hand pick it. Totally Worth The Drive....

... I've got (and had) several Sebenza's, but I must say, I think this one might be my favorite. Something about that box elder wood. It's just simply beautiful. I had been looking for one for a while, and finally found one at Lighthound.com , I wrote them to make sure it was in stock, they replied yes, so I sold a couple CRK's to raise the funds. The very next day I went to order it and they said that it wasn't in fact in stock. :grumpy: Talk about mad :grumpy: . I was ANGRY. After Searching the net up and down, I finally ran up on another one, this beauty, one-stop-knife-shop, which happened to be in Lousville, KY. Talk about lucky. I thought to myself, wow, this is only a couple hours away, I can actually go and hand-pick my Sebenza, this is a first. So me and the family loaded up for a road trip, and here we are. Our happy family has just found it's newest addition, and she sure is a Beauty! Plus I got to meet the HPIC himself! Thanks Spark! :D

Wow! nice!

It is always worth the drive if you get to select something you truly like! Congrats!

Very nice... how much was the in state tax on that bad boy..... But I guess it doesn't really matter cause you were actually able to hand pick it.

In 8 words: That Sebbie is seriously splendid and strikingly sumptuous.

Thanks for sharing you story!

I've only got the diamond plate Sebenza right now but I love it - L-O-V-E- I-T - and every time I see a pic like this from one of the forum members I'm driven that much harder to get that next one.
Fantastic looking knife BigBrad! I'd drive 5 hours for it!

Thank you for the kind words. I see that you have one of the Diamond Plated Sebe's. I have wanted one for a while, and have gave it much thought, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Very Sweet Knife!

Brad,

I love that Box Elder. There is so much going on in that grain. It almost has a 3D effect. Beautiful knife.
