Quite a list.
The "maker micro shows" are missing. Though not many attendees, some serious collectors do attend these shows.

Hi Mike,

Excellent thread. What a good one-stop quick resource. Would you be willing to update your top list as shows come up and members post new dates in posts?

I'd also love to have a link associated to any that have such info available.

See what you started? Might deserve a sticky.... ;)

The CKCA list and maintains a show schedule under "events" on the website.
The 2008 schedule is currently posted, however 2009 will be up by mid December. We try to keep it pretty current throughout the year.

Sure, I'll be happy to update the list. I'll add links for the various shows as I get time.

Mike the Oklahoma Show date has been changed to the tentative date of September 12 due to Knifemakers Guild Show date changing .Mike Miller

The dates have been determined for the Kentucky Cutlery Association Show - June 26-28, 2009. Our club is making a big push to get more custom knifemakers in this show. It is a very nice facility with easy access directly off of I-65 just 20 minutes south of Louisville, KY.

Since the NKCA dropped their spring KY show and moved the fall show to Louisville, this will be the only knife show at the Shepherdsville Paroquet Springs Conference Center in 2009.

Custom makers, come on out and join us. Tables are cheap. There is an adjacent hotel and others in the area along with several restaurants. Jerry Bodner is the show chairman so I think this will be a really good show.

Admission to the show is free with a donation to the "Crusade for Children" which has raised over $123 million since 1954 for children with special needs in Kentucky and Indiana.

See the Kentucky Cutlery Association Website for more information.
