2009 SHOT Show

It's only a few hours away from where I live, but my wife is going to be about 2-3 weeks away from giving birth. If I missed it because of a "gun show" I would never be able to buy another firearm again.:eek:

(I'm trying to convince my wife and her OB to go with me;))
 
I've been trying for YEARS to get to one. This may be my year... I'll know next week if I can make it or not. If there are going to be a few of us there we should meet up sometime after the madness for show and tell.

'08 was a great year for me, and if '09 starts with me going to SHOT and then making it to Blade... Well, I won't know what to do with myself.
 
Hey Ken, while you're there look out for my buddy GentleBen. He's the proprietor of Boresight Solutions, and he'll be there with Wade Rorich and Bushido Tactical. I know you're a Glocker...you might really dig his work. I got Ben into Busses shortly after I got addicted, and his two babies are an SHE and an NOE both Kreined. He's done some gun customizations for Krein and Elishewitz, among others. I'm actually a moderator on his forum over at USN.

I may be there, but not sure yet, as I am trying to make it up there the weekend before because my sister is flying in from Illinois to run the Disney marathon.

I would love to attend. Orlando is only a 90 minute drive from my house. However, the show is open only to manufactures and dealers, which I am not. :grumpy:
 
Look forward to seeing your pictures and to find out what will be coming out this year. Thanks for your time, hope its a good show. If anybody has an extra pass or two, I can be there in 30 min.:D

Looks like it's official. I'm going! First time for me, and I've been trying for ever, just never been around for it.

So, are we all going to get together?

Oh, Knights Armament is having an open house Friday night, with transportation provided to and from the show. All you have to do is go to their website and sign up. I'll be there as well. Maybe we could all hook up for dinner after the Knights tour?
