Here's the Poll we've all been waiting for! I will run it for 10 days, so everyone can get a chance to vote. Hopefully we won't be interrupted by a server change.
The choices; our painstakingly democratic process has come up with three interesting knives.:)
I am hoping we will get great support here. Remember, if your favorite knife doesn't win, it may come up as next year's knife!!:thumbup:
Please vote only if you intend to buy a knife. This is a process based on trust and respect, and thus far, IMO, this is the greatest forum on BF in that regard!!
Your choices (no Camels here; all nice!:D) are as follows;
1) Canal Street's new pattern Swell Center Jack with "Seal Cap".
4 1/8" OA, D-2 blades. Straight Bar shield, handles as seen. $115.00

2) Great Eastern's Big "Cigar" Jack (with a more traditional jigged bone than shown).
4 1/8" OA, 1095 blades. $79.30 - - - -Better image added!

3)Queen's Ebony Swell Center "Moose".
3 7/8" OA, 1095 blades. Oval shield. $80.63

Prices include shipping to continental USA. Make alternate arrangements with us if needed, i.e: overseas.
Queen or GEC will have a Bladeforums Tang Stamp.
Canal Street will have a stamped Shield.
All will be marked 2010.
We've agreed no etches or serial numbers.
(If someone sends me a better GEC pic, I will change it!)

How the hell can I choose, I want all of them. :)

Still, I've gone for the GEC but I'll be happy with whatever comes out in the wash.

I'll talk to you about shipping to Oz.

What a tough choice between the CS and GEC. I like the pattern of the CS better but I am continually thrilled with GECs fit and finish, so it got my vote. Can't have too many GECs!
 
Could you please add the specifics to the first post?
Closed length, blade steel, any goofy engraving on the blade, etc, etc.

I'm not smart enough to find all the details in the old posts.

I voted for the Canal Street Swell. I liked the looks of it better than the other 2 choices. I'll buy which ever one wins, but like that one the best.

I went moose. Love the look of the ebony (I don't have any knives in that wood).
One for me and international to Japan, please.

Edit: One for me, regardless of which pattern wins. They all look great. And thank you for arranging all of this.
 
I have to go for the Moose, the Ebony and the swedges look great. I'll take one Charlie and thanks for all your work, the process has gone smoothly. I'm in Ontario so we will have to talk shipping.
