Considering how much you spent, I am very, very impressed. You obviously got some incredible deals. Good job!

I did, thanks. Yes, the 'per knife price' was quite low - but, after factoring in airfare, lodging, meals, etc. however, not so much. In fact, after ebay, paypal, credit card, and shipping fees, I'll be lucky to break even if I keep anything; I'd like to keep the model #10's...hopefully I can. :(

Aw, forget about what the trip cost. Call that a "vacation." You were probably ready to get away from the snow and cold for a while anyway.

Thanks Arden - I might trade you a knife for a fish someday... ;)

Sure, sure - one of those Spydercos on the table, right? (Hmm. Actually, that still might not be such a bad deal.):)

Noooo...I'm keeping the Spyderco and Kershaw for now! Fact is, I give away so many small folders that my stock of EDC's was getting really low...

I think just about every young guy (and a few of the older guys too) on my FD now have gifted pocket knives - they worked for 'em, but now the word is out; do right on a call and ya just might get a 'bonus'...lol

With such good luck in Eugene, I was curious if Melvin is going to the Blade Show in Atlanta? Perhaps more luck is in store for him there. I also wondered if he was going to give a talk at the RKS meeting.

Here are some closer uppers...the '60's vintage #1-6 probably has more collector value, but the all-original mid 80's #1-6 is spot-on perfectly center balanced, has a bit of ergonomic handle drop, and thin handle sides too...it feels really nice in the hand, fast, almost weightless

Arden,

Yes, I just haven't decided which ones or where. I'll likely keep the pocket knives and Model #10's; the stag handled 'more than five option' knives can't be easily replaced so I'm kinda tossed on those - the others, eventually, yes...

Shel
