I'll apologise in advance to the mods if this isn't appropriate. Fes PM d me with a comment about another thread and also asked my opinion re the 2012 .I couldn't send this directly as a PM for some reason.Any way perhaps others could contribute there opininions on the 2012 knife in order that he makes the right decision and gets one.Yours in a completely unbiased way. Honestly it is a very untrustworthy world these days. I'm kinda glad I don't have daughters.

errm the trapper...it is a solid heavy in the hand knife for its size with strong snap (i like that).
the wharny blade is thin sharp and pointy , i find it more useful than for instance the spear point on the 2010.
The clip is thinner than the 2010 but has more guts.
The scales are beautiful-at first I thought oh no,dodgy dye job, too wishy washy. After a short time the " crocodile look" appeared.
If you check my pics on the first thread that came out for the 2012 you will see what I mean .The colour seems to to change with the light. A bit like those photochromatic glasses.All in all beautifully done and well worth getting . IMHO.
