2011 Big Sky Weekend

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you know that I have scheduled the 2011Big Sky Weekend. I am moving it back a bit next year because the Blade Show and 4th of July make it just a little to hectic for the end of June.

The festivities will be July 15-17. I really have no idea who I will have in the show at this point or who will be teaching. All I know is when I am having it.

I just wanted to get this out and have you all start planning for it. You are all coming, aren't you???:D

So far for my show I have Owen Wood, Harvey Dean, Shane Taylor, myself, and from there I'm up in the air. Any suggestions of who you may want to see exhibit or teach on the weekend?
 
John Young would be good to demonstrate guard fit and soldering. And how about you doing a demonstration on damascus? Or maybe make shane do a damascus demo. And Tim Hancock demonstrateing anything is great. Not that i have an opinion on Tim's teaching ability but he is one of the greatest.:D
 
Naw Josh, The blocks from Austrailia were planing on coming since yours hammerin was going to be close to blade.
 
Hmmm, Ive never been referred to as a "block" before......... Well Josh, that just threw that plan out the window.
Have been trying to get to your weekend for the last 3 yrs but it meant having to wait 3 weeks after Blade. Next year would have been perfect, as i normally spend 2 weeks with selected makers before heading back to Australia. Getting 5 weeks off work aint gonna happen:grumpy:
