2011 Voyager XL, or 2011 Vaquero XL?

Which one for a new EDC?

As far as I can tell the only difference lies in the blade shape. Whichever I decide to buy will be in plain edge.

Thoughts?
 
Haha we were just talking about this on the other forum.

Between the two of them, the clip point.. I just got the xl version and it handles really well!

The vaquero seems way to recurvy

Haha I checked again, yes we were talking about this.

The Vaquero also seems to have a shorter blade by tenth of an inch or so.
 
Clip point unless you use rods or some sort of V-type sharpener. Both are good blade styles though. I'm getting one soon. I'm loving my large clip-point Voyager & just ordered a large Vaquero. $42 bucks shipped!
 
I just picked up a Large 5.5-inch G10 Espada, so I think I will hold off on getting anymore XL Voyagers for a while.

I am quite pleased with my Large Clip-Point Voyager too. I figure that I will get the Tanto-Point and Vaquero next.
 
The vaquero grande is one of my favorite knife since many years, I relly want to try the new version with the triad lock.
