Just got a couple of my Ganzaaaa blades! :D Even better, both were sharpened by Garth! :cool: The Scrapmax 460 is friggin' AWESOME!!! I wish I had gotten two instead of just one. I can tell this knife is going to get a TON of use! Kudos to Scrapyard!!! :thumbup:

Unfortunately, the SYKCO 311 is the standard 0.197" thick, and NOT 0.25" as I was told and the Ganzaa specs showed. :( Still a sweet little knife, but I was hoping for a real tank with this one. :foot: FYI.

My guess is miss print if I remember correctly when the 311 originally came out they misprinted specs to show .25 thk
 
I e-mailed Renee at Scrapyard and she confirmed the 0.25" thickness, so... :confused:
 
Perhaps if you feed it properly, it will fatten back up?!

I would be curious about the feel of a fat one compared to the current anorexic version (which I like). Were there any fatties at Blade to play with?

No thicker ones at Blade. IIRC the thread with the specs., had a question regarding the .25t, and responded to, as a typo. Was supposed to be .187t
 
Got my 311 from Ganza also. Hadn't noticed the specs saying it was different which is fine with me as I like the standard black one I have. Wish I would have had the cash for a second one and a matching 711.
 
We never got confirmation of the 0.25" thickness of the 311's from Busse. Closest thing was when Renee told me (incorrectly, it now appears) that it was 0.25" thick before the Ganzaaaa. Maybe you're thinking when I reported that Lexi said the Kill-Devil Sniper Hawk was 3/16"?
 
I asked the same question right after I ordered mine since I had seen a bit of the confusion on the initial release via scrapyard. dericdesmond replied that the one he got from Blade was .195.

I was hoping for a full 1/4" little tank, but I think I'll be happy with it... we'll see soon enough.
