Congratulations. I need your mailing address to get your knife to you.

Well, we are now well into 2013, so I thought a 2012 new member give away would be in order. For this, my third new member give away, I have decided to give away my slightly used SAK Pioneer. It has been used a bit, but not abused; a good serviceable knife with a lifetime of use in it with only reasonable care. The only requirement to enter is that you joined/signed up as a registered member in CY 2012. I will run the give away through next Monday. When it turns Tuesday (the 8th of January, 2013) morning in Louisiana, the give away will close for entry. I picked the Pioneer because it has a kind of crossover status here and is a very useful knife regardless of your personal bent here on Bladeforums. I wanted to do this because our new members are many times "ruled out" of give aways. This allows new folks to have a shot at winning a knife and experiencing this aspect of our favorite site before they are too old to enjoy it. Our overseas members are invited as long as they understand that I will not guarantee that the knife will actually reach them if they win. I can guarantee that I will ship it anywhere the USPS will take it to.
In many give aways you have to have made a certain number of posts in a certain place or post pictures of cats or dogs or girl friends or place or other things, tell stories, tell lies, or what not. Not in this one just say "I'm in" in the thread and you will have a shot at the knife, if you became a new member in 2012.
Welcome to Bladeforums, and "Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades".
Good Luck everyone.
