Hey all,
I just booked tickets for my daughter and I for this years Pathfinder Gathering, Is anyone else from the forum going? has anyone gone in previous years?
 
I went a couple years ago, and wrote it up here for Woodsmonkey.

You will have a fun time for sure. Great people, great fun.

I may decide at last minute to ride the motorcycle down with my son this year. But, I am not sure at the moment.

Thanks Brian, thats a well written article. Do you know if it is being held at the same campground? If I dont feel like cooking in the morning is there somewhere to get a coffee and bagel on-site? Is there hot showers? (Not that I cant go without but I sleep better with).
 
Sorry, I hadn't been checking in on this thread and didn't see your question.

The gathering looks like it is being held at the same location.

Other than that, my information is years old, so take it for what it is worth. It is possible they have changed things, so I would check with them.

But, dinner was included. Breakfast was still cooked and was like $5. You could also buy a cup of coffee seperately too, along with drinks and snacks through the day.

Firewood was free. So, you can bring a backpack stove, cook on a fire, or eat there.

For showers, there was one very small shower within site of gathering pavilion, and a much nicer, bigger one up the hill behind you. It is not much father, but just not obvious because you can't see it up there. Just walk about the round going up hill behind the gathering and you will see it.

Bring money :) BHK had an impressive display last time I was there. I wanted to buy something and I make knives :)
