After watching the youtube videos for SHOT here are the one Im excited for. What about you guys?

My List:

1. Lonewolf Landside
2. Cold Steel Mini Recon 1
3. Cold Steel Tuff Lite (the larger one)
4. ZT 561
5. HK 1402 (what a steal!!)
6. HK Multitool (trhough I cant see needing a handcuff key, but that one time would be worth every penny I suppose)
7. Benchmade 810 (really want this one it looks good and is in M4)
8. Benchmade SOCP Dagger (for a letter opener)
9. Kershaw Hinder knife. I didnt catch the model name but that blade is going to be a big hit. In the video I watched they said its only going to be around $50.

I was at SHOT, and here are a few that stood out to me (in no particular order):

1. HTM Greg Lightfoot mid-tech flipper proto with Maxx Glide bearing system (see this thread) - Darrel/HTM had a proto of this at the show, and it's a winner. Very comfortable and well-balanced in the hand, and flies open like an assisted opener with the Maxx Glide pivot. With the changes Greg suggested to the blade and handle finishes, the final production version will be even cooler-looking than the proto.

2. ZT 0560/0561 - Not a whole lot to say about this one since everyone already knows about it from the forums/pre-orders. The one thing that I think a lot of people are going to be pleasantly surprised by is how light these are given their size/build quality. And of course the flipping action with KVT is ridiculously smooth.

3. ZT 0777 proto - Another that doesn't really need much of an introduction/description. Amazing looks and flipping action, very comfortable in the hand, and extremely lightweight for its size.

4. Spyderco Brad Southard flipper proto - This was the biggest and most pleasant surprise of the show for me. I knew a Spyderco custom collab with Brad was in the works but didn't know much more beyond that. This is Spyderco's first flipper, and they (and Brad!) hit it out of the park: titanium framelock with G-10 on the off side (brown G-10 on the proto, but I don't know if that's set in stone), great blade shape, very comfortable in the hand, and very smooth/fast flipping action.

...have to run off to campus now but will post back with some more knives/impressions later today or tomorrow.

Contego 810 is looking pretty good... fusion of barrage, 710, and rift with M4 blade.
