From there, vendors were contacted, and GEC responded with a timely estimate based on specifications provided below:

Congress Jack-Blade Forums 1095 Carbon Steel
Size 3.5" - 4"
Sheepsfoot primary blade behind pen secondary blade
Long pull on primary blade
Standard nail mark on secondary blade
Nail marks to be on shield side of both blades set to not
interfere with each other
Blade Forums tang stamp - will have to have new one
made to fit
2013 stamped on tang
Half stops on both blades
Main blade as long as possible but no longer than 3"
Extended spring to close secondary blade channel
Satin finish on blades
Cut swedge on primary blade
Drawn swedge on secondary blade
Bolster and pins to be nickel silver
Square style bolster on both ends
Rattail (one medium thick groove per bolster)
Fine grained paper or linen micarta off white/ivory color
Pinned shield to be long, centered and running parallel to
long axis of knife
No etches
No Serial Numbers

They need 50% down before they will begin work. If we can get 125 pre-orders, they will be delivered within 10 weeks from deposit.


Based on their quote, price will be $129.99 per knife, shipped within the lower 48. International shipping will be more expensive. This is an increase over last year because of the number of knives that went "missing" during shipments and the pain in the ass it was.

Shipping to Alaska / Hawaii shouldn't be bad. International shipping will be calculated at the time of boxing and you will be sent a payment request for the cost. Typically last year shipments to the Netherlands, Belgium, etc were running around $11-13

Hi Spark, thanks for handling this again this year.
How should we proceed for the international shipping? Should we just pay normally and handle the extra cost later?

As an FYI, when you click that link it shows an additional $7.00 shipping and handling charge. Not sure if that needs any attention or not.
