2013 Emerson Commander question

Just got a 2013 commander from a reputable online dealer , knife came with box, plastic paperwork etc. Only thing is it has stand offs instead of a back spacer is this a design change or did I buy a fake?Fwiw the knife is rhw same as all my other emersons except these stand offs.
