OK, Roger, sorry, some people are touchy about that. PrestonSo now I'm a dentist?? ... DDS..... Personally I like my given name... /Roger![]()
Geee whiz Preston, you didn't have to change it... I was just funnin!
.... So, out of the ~200K Buck 110's made in 2014, was the Alaskan Guide the only one that had the "normal/standard" date stamp?
drei3ree... I do not consider the first stamp to be a 50th Anniversary stamp. It is just a normal 2014 date code tang stamp. For whatever reason.... Buck did not put the 50th anniversary stamp on the Alaskan Guide 110 until later in the year, about August I think. I am travelling and away from my notes. The only difference I can think of is because of the steel, Buck now laser etches those markings instead of stamping them on the Alaskan Guide.... Maybe someone didn't think to program the laser with the 2014 50th logo.....(tongue in cheek)
Roger--Did you have a chance to look at your notes on the 2014 Alaskan Guide?
