Glad you made it home safely Craig,

Thanks for the the wonderful photo's of the event and all of the club folks. Now tell us what you all you got to see, what you heard, and is there anything new coming our way? Don't forget to post a few more photo's of the 300Bucks BG-42 301's, if there is only 30+ left I'd say they are a hit with club members and show goers. Tell us about the club meeting, any discussions about any new club knives for the future?

Terrific photos. Thank you kindly 300.

Good to see the Buck collectors with trophies in Hand.

What keeps the giant tool chest from falling over with all drawers open?

Glad you made it home safe Good to see you and your wife again Great times great show and Greater freinds see you in couple of weeks

Edited as Dale comments on his knife display later in thread.

Looks like Larry in the second photo and isn't that Rusty behind Josh and Connor in the last photo?

Yes, to BHs questions.

Some more photos. I try to take photos on Friday when there are less people crowded in. Its also the best day for displayers to walk around so many are not at their displays or in Buck Town.

BCCI meeting photo, Larry Oden with Joe Houser in background, showing off new copper 110 "prototype" with LOA that got auctioned off.

Another look at Buck area, Sheriff Rusty's 700 display in foreground, well actually Marj's display is on table corner. Dee Schindewolf guarding club table.

Overhead view from opposite corner, John Hunts Aurum etched blade knife display in foreground. We get four table row as club, that gives one wide walkway that is just club displays. We have asked for at least one additional table row in future, so think about coming and setting up a display. Some are only two cases, 12 knives and a typed piece of paper. Anyone can display. More on this in future.

Back alley view from behind my 300 display towards BCCI table and main show tables. (Double this view to left X2), to give you a size of show area) Joe Houser and Jimmy Holbrook setting down.
Jerry Quinn and Gene Merritt in front. Ken Burns at end.

More to come 300/ch

WOW Craig!

Were you positioned on a ladder, cherry picker, drone, hover craft, stilts, thrown up into the air by Eskimo blanket trick, launched upward by person(s) to shy to have their photographic image captured or on clown shoes tippy toes for some of these brilliant shots?

What did you buy?

Who got injured by your murderously sharp dangerous knife during this show?

Does a Southern drawl get you a better price from the locals?

Love to see the BCCI collector winners. Can I borrow your photo for an avatar? Pretty please.

Thanks a million for your efforts. May you live a thousand years.

Brent Schindewolf

Larry Oden

Dale Eichberg, Vintage/early knives

Jimmy Holbrook, 500's

Brian Hugh, Striders and 186's

Standing around the campfire, so to speak, Joe Houser, Leroy Remer, Heath Stone and Jerry Quinn. See what your missing you could be standing there also.

More to come

Well, if this doesn't tempt one to go, you're probably comatose. I'll be at next years just for the eye candy. Unbelievable, thanks again 300 for the enlightenment.

Craig, awesome pictures. For those folks curious about the rolling cabinet, I'll be happy to explain what we did to build it. But as a quick note: it was made from scrap metal, skinned in new tread plate, and has no counter weights. We are currently designing a lighter weight version with removable counterweights and of a smaller scale.

But more importantly, being our first time meeting the BCCI and all the wonderful folks, Melanie and I just wanted to say thank you for the extremely warm welcome. There is no question that our club presence and support is second to none. What an amazing time we had and again thank you all being so gracious.

Best Regards,

Dale Eichberg, BCCI life member.

300Bucks.

I think I can speak for all of us who could not make it to the Blade Show. Seeing the pictures you post is the next best thing to being there and without them we would have little to no clue what we missed. Thank you from all of us who could not attend. Great pictures of the Buck Knives displays. You have inspired me and most likely many others to at least try to make the time to attend next years show.

Club has annual meeting on Sat. afternoon.

Bob George of Buck Knives, talks about future projects and the future of a close Buck and the BCCI relationship.

Various forms of business occur, awards, auctions and special knife sales.

Georgia Foresman was selected to receive the Paul Lentz Outstanding Club service award for 2014. Which included just putting up with the club stuff and people for years ....she serves behind the scenes thru-out the year.

Josh Buck gives Dale Eichberg one of his several awards

Davy Aylor gets a First Time Displayer (FTD) award

Bill Gardiner gets a FTD award also

As does Cindy Meier

And Marj Donoghue also

The rush for the knife sale table was modified with a number drawing system this year. As your number was selected you got to run back to the table and shop for a couple of knives .

And Jim Bartolini continued his good natured fun from the Idaho meeting by receiving a bearded Buck to go with "Bucky" the bearded beaver.

Almost done just a little more on the way

Well, that's about it. Its really not hard to display. The club is trying for more space so anyone and everyone can bring a display and join in the fun weekend here or at other shows also. You will see knife sights you will be amazed by. Beautiful craftsmanship and wild designs for bushcraft and zombie war.
Some of the Buck displays are products of years of work and design and some are simple cases that keep people from fingering your knives. Several people sell cases at the show , one is usually right beside the Buck area. I must hang my head and tell Joe Houser I never did get him to pose with his knives. We even sat behind his display by ourselves for 20 minutes and I never thought about it. I think we weren't even talking about knives. Just a couple of guys having a conversation. You can catch his one small case of old green Lucite hatchet and knives in some of the photos

If you don't like crowds, and in truth I don't, then you have to tighten your belt around your big boy pants to be at the Blade Show on Saturday. I usually stay behind the displays and visit with everyone.

Ok, I will show myself before someone says something. Your display must somehow fit on a 24" wide table. The tables are 7 feet long but this year demand was high so I cut my display in half and shared a table with Ken and Vickie Burns. You may want to start small and plan for a half table spot or even just one case. If we get more space maybe everyone can have a table of their own. But it was a sure a lot easier to travel with a small display.......

We always are pulling tricks and jokes. A couple of years ago we appointed Rusty Donoghue as Sheriff of Buck Town complete with Badge, this year we appointed Doris Beall as Deputy Doris.

In the end this is what it is all about, passing on a appreciation of knives or guns or hotrods along to the next generation with the concept of honor and kindness and safety. And not being a danger to everyone around you with insane thinking and stupid actions. Good going Connor.......

DONE DEAL
