I got out today on a local river. Caught a few pounders but none picture worthy.

I find it easier to target quality fish in the winter. I love the hardwater season as much as the open water! But this winter was too brutal even for me. what size was that Crappie? Both nice fish here guys, keep it up!

We've only been ice free for a couple weeks, but I've been getting a few small rainbow's from my favorite little lake. Nothing big, but enough to make a meal of.

A few like this most days. I'm having fun anyway.

Caught a couple of other small hand sized black bass but this largemouth was the only one picture worthy. Probably around 5 pounds.

These are from last year. Opener is in a couple of weeks for me. Also sucker spearing. Trout season is already going on. Lots of ice and snow has melted was in 40's and 50's last week but today it is 12 above and everything is frozen again. Will be out there when most of ice is gone.
