I haven't had a chance to read through about Mecha's forged Ti but for those who deny the ability of Ti to hold geometry I have videos of some of my 6-4 Ti cutting steel. Also the results of my solution-treating were interesting but for the record none of the ti I sent out into the world so far had any experimental treatments.

Thanks,

William:cool:

Hi William- The Tikat 2 is your finest blade yet, imo. I look forward to seeing more Ti blades from you.
Get to know mecha. You both have vision.
Thanks for the links.

I agree^ but William duz his own thing.
I cringed when I watched William test my Tikat but when she arrived here, that sword was good as new.

Yes, yes, YES! More titanium sword action! Mighty fine work, Mr. Nease, and that's not a small sword. Still trying to wrap my head around the helicoil grind, since the blade looks perfectly straight, flat and tapered.

I recently had the chance to hold two of your carbon fiber knives with the inlaid metal edge. They were wicked and seemed to weigh less than nothing. I'm a fan of your unorthodox blade fabrication and materials, and it would be great to share insights about working titanium with the tikat builder!

Very cool William; I'm starting to really think a Ti blade is next on my list.:D:)
