Does anyone else have photos of theirs? I wasn't expecting the finger grooves, but I do like it.

I got a few of these and all mine also have the finger grooves. According to the picture on the newsletter order form it was not to have finger grooves. I like it with the finger grooves much better myself.

The last picture is of the order form out of the newsletter for comparison. I think Buck and the Collectors Club hit it out of the park on this one.

Please post all the photo's of each one. I'm still waiting for mine to come, so see all of the variations from all of your's will have to tide me over.

I agree, the size and weight, with the finger grooves makes a great fit in my hand. I hope the BCCI will continue in this trend on future projects - with a series of BCCI fixed blade models. A beautiful, simple but elegant design, and a great functional knife.

For those who haven't seen one, the photos are good, but they don't look as nice as the real thing. The bark on mine is deeper than the photo shows.

I am surprised more people have not responded about these knives. I got mine. Such a beautiful knife. This was definitely a better suited knife for my tastes than the 301 from last year. Which I bought also. Anybody how many of these knives they ended up making?

John said 100 were made and 85 had been pre-ordered. I think it is a great knife, although it is a little larger than what I usually use.
 
Just cause I like to ask dumb questions, I'm assuming the notification for BCCI knives goes out to members only?

I may need to join then if I'm wanting a shot at scoring the special runs then correct?

You are correct. In addition to the club knives, there is a lot of information available to members. Join today.

the Emembership is only $10, all the club bennys except you only get an email copy of the news letters or the Buck catalog.

My guess is that present owners would not be parting from their club knives in their natural lifetime...
Priceless it is.

I'd like to see the BCCI come out with a 102 Woodsman and a 105 Pathfinder of the same design with the same materials.
 
This is not the 1st time the 119, 102 and 105 have been offered with this steel. Just saying. It is a handsome model. DM
