So! Jerry Fisk's Micro Show is just under 2 weeks away. It will be the 11th year that he has held it and they are having some of the best makers in the industry attend.

The show is the second weekend of Oct. I believe the viewing is on Friday, Oct. 9 and the knife show it self will be on Oct 10th. I might refine that with more detail in the coming week or Jerry can jump in and correct me if I am wrong.

Already, I have had a blast and the show hasn't even started! Last year, I was able to enjoy a few days with the lateJohn White, M.S. and Don Hanson III, M.S., doing a few videos and pictures of them working the their knives for the show. Sadly, John passed away before Jerry's show and Preston had to bring his knives for him. It's just a little preview of what the makers are doing for the show and some very short work in progress pictures. This year the makers are Kyle Royer, M.S. and David Lisch, M.S..

I do know that each of the 4 makers will be bringing a give away knife to be drawn at the show. Which is really awesome of them!

J.R. Cook, M.S. has been working on some cool stuff for the Knife Rodeo this year. So it will be interesting to see who get on the cutting wall of fame next.

I am going to start this off with pictures of Jerry Fisk, M.S., since he lives the closest to me and his video will have the most information about the show. I haven't finished editing the video yet, but I figured I would give you some pictures for now. I hope you guys enjoy this!

The first two pictures of Jerry Fisk M.S. working is of a fixed blade.

This set is of a folder that Jerry plans to have at the show. He said he was planning on putting stag on the folder, since it is one of the more rare handles to see on his folders. I plan on having a short video edited soon! Currently, I am attending the Branson, MO hammer-in/show, so it might be Monday before I can post it. I do plan on working on piecing it all together. But! You will all get to see the pictures and videos as soon as I do them. :D

I will be attending the show as the spouse of a collector. Karen is pretty excited about the show and she had me put a lanyard on her big Rhea camp knife for the rodeo; I'm really hoping she doesn't cut herself. I look forward to seeing what each of the makers brings to the show. I've been following Dave on Instagram with his wild dagger, and Caleb's post the other day of Kyle's knife was absolutely incredible. Jerry has said I will learn a lot just being there and talking to the makers and I can't see how that wouldn't be true. Amazing depth of talent there. If the show weren't enough, I'll be staying on for a week to hang out with J.R. in his apprentice program. Can't wait till next Friday!

Good pics, Logan!

I had a fantastic time at Jerry's show, twice!!!

Thanks, Don! I will never forget the visit to your shop when I did the preview for the show last year. :D

It will without a doubt be a great show as it always is.

I couldn't agree more!

Thank you for sharing! It is a great pleasure for me seeing the Makers at work!!!

It should be entertaining. :)

You will definitely learn a lot from this. They are pretty amazing craftsmen!

Here are a few more of the pictures from Jerry's shop:

Here are some of the finished knives that Jerry has.

The $8 knife that Jerry engraved:

Buddy has a thread for Jerry's other knife here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...rtifact-handle-24-ct-gold-case-hardened-steel

It is definitely worth checking out!

Here is 1 of 5 videos that was made for the preview of the Fisk Micro Show. Instead of doing one long one, I thought I would cut it up into 5 separate ones. This way each of the makers get their own video and then you have one that will give you a general idea of what is going to be happening at the show. This one is the one that gives you that idea.

The next 4 videos will be of them actually working on the knives!

Thanks, David! I can't wait to see it. :D

Here are some of the knives that J.R., Kyle, David, and Jerry have for the show! I have more work in progress stuff coming, but these deserve to be shown.

J.R. Cook, M.S./Arkansas Living Treasure:

He had been working on a second knife for the show for a little while now and I have been able to grab a few pictures of the knife at different stages, since it took us a few tries before we both had enough time to spare to do his video. Plus...sometimes I talk alot. :p

One of Kyle Royer, M.S. knives that he had finished when I visited him was a random pattern damascus fighter with ebony for the handle. Caleb Royer did an amazing picture (as usual) for his brother and here it is!

More of his work to come. ;)

David Lisch has his craaazy dagger posted on a thread here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1328649-fisk-Show-Dreams-of-Grandeur-Dagger

But I am going to steal the picture and show it to you again.

And a knife by David that you haven't seen yet;

I have another amazing one by him that I will be posting when I am finished editing the video of him working on his dagger. Crazy stuff.

And another shot of Jerry Fisk, M.S. folding knife shot by me, with a picture of his Sendero shot by Chuck Ward:

I have J.R. Cook's maker at work pictures coming up along with the video of Jerry Fisk working, which should be out tomorrow evening. Following that will be pictures of Kyle and David, followed by their videos.

Logan,

Thanks for the knife photos.

It will be great to see them in person next week.

A good knife feels good in the hand and reminds you of an old friend and never has to be buried ......
That is so true. I really looking forward to the show! I get the pleasure of picking up Jim Treacy and Dave Lisch at Little Rock. It'll be a blast!

Jerry Fisk, M.S. video of him doing some work on a knife for the 2015 Fisk Micro Show as well as talking about what he already had finished.

I will be posting David Lisch's, M.S. video followed by Kyle Royer M.S., soon! But for now here is a few shots of J.R. Cook M.S. working on the cutting knife that I believe is his give away knife for those that put in for one of his knives.
