The 2014 Micro show just closed. It was a success with JR Cook, Don Hansen and the late John white all have pieces here. Every knife at the show sold and the collectors present all learned a bit of various topics and had a good time. Our thanks goes to the makers that were here as well as to the buyers for making it so much fun.
Bill Flynn won the Top cut award of the cutting competition. For a first time cutter that man can cut. Logan may be posting up a few photos of the show itself.

The invited makers for next year will be Kyle Royer and David Lish. We all look forward to what those two will bring to the table.

Way to go Bill!!! There were some absolutely killer pieces available this year...no doubt some seriously happy collectors out there right now:thumbup: Definitely looking forward to some photos of the show!

Wow, I am Thrilled about this it is a real honor to be picked to be in the show by the collectors. I am already thinking about what I will make. A big thank you to everyone that gave a tip of the hat for me and to Jerry Fisk for all he does to promote custom knife making.

Good choice in David. I he will definatly give his best for Mr. Jerry.

Jerry,

Thanks again for a great show. The knives were all spectacular, the food was delicious, and the people friendly.

You, Bob, Hollie, ,JR, Don, and Logan really outdid yourselves. Preston did a very nice tribute to John White and is was really a treat to see John's Legacy Series knives.

I can't wait until next year.

Jim

I'm sure everyone had a great time and it must have been "one for the books"!!! The memories of the year I attended will be with me for the rest of my life. Looks like next year will be another great one with some serious headliners

I attended the first seven Fisk Shows and was looking forward to returning this year, however couldn't make it happen.
I hear it was and outstanding show as usual, with very special knives, great food and a lot of fun and catching up among friends.
Wow, what a line-up of knifemakers for next year.
Jerry started the "mini-show" concept ten years ago, and his Show is still going strong.

For a first timer (Scalawag) at the Fisk Show, I must say it was everything it was billed to be and much more. Great people, great food, great fun, great information and, of course, great knives. Thanks to Jerry, JR, Don, the late John White and all the others who made it happen. I even managed to pick up a couple knives. Luck was smiling. Looking forward to next year and being a Scoundrel (that's not something you hear everyday).

Here are some photos from Jerry's Show. You can see pictures or the knives on the other Microshow thread.

On Friday we went to Old Washington and saw a re-enactment of an 1800's murder trial.

I can hardly wait for next year! I really excited that Dave Lisch and Kyle are going to be there! Had a super time with Don, Jerry, JR, and all the other guys and gals!

Ugh I think its about time for me to get to one of these... But this last one would have been great.

Also a first timer, and therefore a "Scalawag" :D

Been meaning to go for a couple years but could not make it work - this year turned out to be the charm...and also the 10th Fisk Micro Show!

Jerry and Bob could not have been more welcoming or gracious, and the whole weekend was just one great thing after another - knives, people, food, fun.

Was lucky enough to get a fantastic JR Cook knife and to "win" the famed $8 Sendero....which was pretty special this year

Also (beginners) lucky enough to win the cutting competition, with sage advice from Jerry, JR and Ryan Hays.

as you've seen in the other thread, the knives from Jerry, JR, Don Hanson and John White were just stunning...and I expect next year that Kyle and Dave will "bring it" too:thumbup:

Cannot recommend this show any more highly - just a unique experience

Bill

I've got a ton of pictures to sort through, but I will be posting all of the pictures on the forums. I'm glad the show did so well! If only some people could make it there on time. ;)

Logan, you may get a dozen or so wind-up alarm clocks for Christmas. :D

Jerry and Bob provide some of the best hospitality in the South. What a great time, wonderful show and special people.

Three days of pure fun, with lots of knives and food everywhere you turn.

Thanks to all who made this such a superb event. I had a blast.
