After seeing Granites snowy hike I needed to get out myself.
I had to work the weekend so I had a lot of time to think about it.
The weather for Tuesday looked good so off I went.
I wanted to go lite so I just grabbed the basics.
Me, Bk24, camelbak pack, poles, and micro spikes.

I really like this knife.
If I'm not carrying a mora I have this one and that is saying a lot from me.

Mt. Cardigan is local for me so I try to hike it when I can.

The trail was nice and fluffy.

There are a couple of little bridges to cross which is always encouraging because now the trail starts to climb. It is a pretty easy trail though.

It was a clear day and the views were great, glad I huffed and puffed up here.

Funny thing when you hike alone you run into all kinds of creepy characters.

A great day spent outdoors.

Please post your winter hiking pics, hopefully somewhere warm.

Awesome! I haven't been out at all this winter. Maybe this weekend.

Thanks for posting these pics!

I was wondering what was under that Glock hat. Is that what too much kale does to you?

Picture saved for the future.

Beautiful hike. Thanks for sharing that. Well, except for the one picture which looked too much like a girl I dated once. She broke my heart.

That's cold.

Trailbum, that was a seriously nice view. Frame worthy!

Tradewater, you made me lol.

Thanks for the kind words.
Trade is good like that.

Nice, trailbum. Living up to your name. Sitting here at the Music Hall waiting for the Banff Mountain Film Festival to start, where I will watch people do things that I NEVER will. Love the new 'do. Think I'll grow mine out, too.

Wow great pics. Nothing like being outside on a beautiful winter day, especially with that nice blue sky. Epic pics from the top. Thanks for sharing.

Damn I miss snow. That was awesome. Truly jealous of you and GSOM.

Gave them a little enrichment. Something I do with pics I really like.
