After seeing Granites snowy hike I needed to get out myself.
I had to work the weekend so I had a lot of time to think about it.
The weather for Tuesday looked good so off I went.
I wanted to go lite so I just grabbed the basics.
Me, Bk24, camelbak pack, poles, and micro spikes.

I really like this knife.
If I'm not carrying a mora I have this one and that is saying a lot from me.

Mt. Cardigan is local for me so I try to hike it when I can.
The trail was nice and fluffy.

There are a couple of little bridges to cross which is always encouraging because now the trail starts to climb. It is a pretty easy trail though.

It was a clear day and the views were great, glad I huffed and puffed up here.

Funny thing when you hike alone you run into all kinds of creepy characters.

A great day spent outdoors.
Please post your winter hiking pics, hopefully somewhere warm.
