2016 NF 77 Barlows

These deserve their own thread! Mike at CK nailed it with these variants. What's not to like:

Northfield 77 medium Barlow
Single "pinchable" clip blade
Long matchstriker pull
Steel liners
NF bolsters
1095 steel

Blood Red Jigged Bone
Green Sawcut Bone
Copperhead Sawcut Bone
Bone Linen Micarta

Hopefully we will see some more Micarta/wood choices also!

I've tried just about every GEC frame size and the 77 takes the cake for all time favorite! This is exciting for me and I know I'm not alone!

I'm in for a Sawcut Green, but I'm very curious about the bone linen micarta, as well.
 
I'm in for a Copperhead and a green sawcut for my father-in-law. This is another great run of the best Barlow model I've ever personally handled. Every single aspect of the 77 Barlow ticks my check boxes. I don't think I can say that about any other knife.
 
This will make my 3rd 77 pattern, second NF barlow, and my only knife purchase of the year. Looking forward to it.
 
Thanks Paul but that's the 77 Barlow as a whole! We needed a bit of love for Mike @ CK answering our wants and needs on the best variation yet!

I thought all of the 77 barlows were SFOs for Mike @ CK. Not just this upcoming run.
 
Absolutely, a huge thanks to you, Mike! I was fortunate to get a copperhead and a micarta reserved. Terry, I know how you feel about the 77 so thanks for this thread. Hopefully I can snag a new one and not feel guilty about it;).

Yes, thanks Mike! I am in for 3 of the 4 (no micarta for me). I've also been adding your pocket slips to my life lately...they're perfect!
 
Was super excited when I saw a green bone option so had to get in on that one!

Anybody know when these are expected?
 
Reserved a copperhead saw cut. It just looks like what an old classic Barlow should look like! As I said in another post, this is pretty much my grail Barlow. And I concur with the folks here who love the 77 frame. It is just perfect in the pocket. Not too big and not to small. I'm wicked stoked for this one!

Last year's 2-blade with canvas micarta 77 was my grail Barlow, so it's all just gravy from here on for me.

But this year's single clip blade looks too classic to refuse. I wanted the full retro experience, so I opted for the sawcut copperhead. The color and jigging sound very classic indeed!!!

I recently picked up a green bone 77 jack for my father-in-law. If the green 77 barlow is that same shade if green, it's gonna be a knockout.

I missed out on the reserve...but that bone linen micarta sounds very interesting, and would have been my choice.
Mike kills it all the time with his 77s.
 
I can't wait for this upcoming run!
I got in on a few of them. I'm pretty excited to see what that new clip point looks like. I love a broad clip point no matter if it's pinchable or not!
 
The green sawcut I have reserved would be my (production) grail if it had a nail nick and long hand drawn swedge. BUT I am not complaining at all about a matchstrike pull. It's possible I never thought of a match strike pull on this frame, and even more possible this is a known-unknown grail!


Aside: perhaps it would benefit this thread to rename it "2016 NF 77 Barlows". I'm carrying my 2015 NF Barlow today:
