Today was the first day of SHOT Show and was accompanied by the usual chaos and excitement. As we have changed our production launches to product only being released as it is available to ship we have not had the the mass releases we had in the past. This year we have a new introduction in the form of the KA-BAR Jarosz line. Jesse Jarosz is our newest designer and has made a name for himself in the custom knife world. Unfortunately, our box with the KA-BAR Jarosz knives that were to be launched at the start of the show went "missing" from the shipment, delaying the release until more can be sent from HQ in Olean. Wednesday (tomorrow or today depending on where you are reading this) we hope to launch the first knife in the Jarosz lineup. Be on the lookout for details on the newest addition to the KA-BAR family.

John Benner from TDI, Jesse Jarosz, and Ethan Becker are all at the KA-BAR booth for the week. It is my hope to grab them for interviews. KA-BAR does have a Periscope account and I had some live video feeds from setup day and hope to have more live feeds throughout the week. Our Periscope account is @KA_BAR; if you follow us on Twitter it automatically posts notifications and video there.

Excited to see the new Jarosz collaborations. And may whoever was responsible for the missing knives stub their toe on any and every piece of furniture they pass.

I had my fingers crossed for a Jarosz folder, but that probably isn't in the picture right now.

I'm not much in to folders but it would be nice to see some quality USA made folders from Ka-Bar.
Hell, I could even be convinced to pick one up.

Looks like the globetrotter (quirky name, makes a whistling song get stuck in my head) is reasonabley priced and will do well. Can't wait to see more!

I like it  its a very clean looking design. Can't wait to feel one in the hand, looks like a perfect little EDC blade.

looking forward to more daily photos and stuff :D
