2017 New Zealand Knife Laws

Hi guys,

Next week I'm leaving for New Zealand. South Island only, doing both cities and going into Fiordland.

Just wondering: from one of my relatives I heard that they supposedly recently changed something about onehanded opening, but couldnt find a source for that.

I'm looking to bring a LionSteel M5 for camping, Leatherman multitool and a sub 3.5" folder.

Any kiwi's here that can shed a light on this?

Yeah there's a lot of Grey areas with the law there in NZ but did not hear anything about a new law
