2019 LE Vanguard

On a recent trip I came across this beautiful Buck Vanguard LE from 2019. I spent north of 1k on knives this past weekend so I passed on it but I can’t stop thinking about it. Does anyone have one of these? What’s everyone’s opinion of Bucks 20CV?
 
I don't have any feedback on the 20cv steel.
I haven't used it at all....
Tho it does have a really nice edge!

I really like the maroon micarta handle.
Combined with G-10 guard and pommel, the knife is very light weight.

A lot of the Limited Edition knives are just fancy.
This one is focused on function.
 
I have had a little experience with 20cv with one brand of knife. The blade was crazy sharp for a crazy long time but once it gets a little dull it takes a crazy long time to put a decent edge on it even with diamond stones. My limited experience with one knife so add salt as needed.

I do have experience with 20CV but not from Buck. I’ve found the same steel from one brand to another doesn’t seem the same. I use a knife everyday and not just cardboard. Heat treat matters

I completely agree. I think heat treatment matters just as much as steel choice.
