2019 Slippies

That Barlow is beautiful...I don't even like mother of pearl generally, but it fits on that one

All gorgeous Stefan! My favorite of that group is the one arm Barlow. All of your work is great though.

I think the spear and D in the pearl Barlow bolster makes a nice logo too.

You make beautiful knives with a lot of style. The pearl barlow is interesting, not a thing that is often seen but it sure looks good.

Thank you for posting your fine work ! ! !
The blue Sod Buster does it for me for sure.
A question about the last one : is that water buffalo horn or ebony? I'm thinking buffalo horn.

Second question after all : Sorry to be so out of touch . . . are these 1095 or CPM-154 ?
Or what?
Thanks

That is African buffalo. Really shines up beautifully. I have never worked with water buffalo, but I think it shows a bit more mottling.
The steel on these are all Böhler N690. Not a well known steel in the US, but one that is used quite a lot here in South Africa. I've always had very good results with it and ot makes a very good blade.

Wonderful work, Stefan! That pearl barlow is just beautiful!

Gorgeous work :thumbsup::thumbsup:
I have two knives with N690 and like it very much.
Do you have a website?
Thanks for sharing.

Amazing work, the one arm Barlow probably my favorite of this group. I think a long pull on the clip Barlow would look nice too. Their all quite stunning though!

Say no more. That is killer great steel !
I like the way it sharpens and I like the way it holds an edge. Darned rust resistant to as I understand it. No rust prob where I live so I haven't put that particular aspect to the test.
