2020 Buck 110

ive wanted a 2020 stamp all year but the store only had 2019 stamps. life got in the way and now its november. i went to the store today and they had a 2020. i think from here on out im gonna buy one each year with that years stamp. funny thing is it had a mexican sheath. i thought they were usa made now.

anyways. its near perfect. fit and finish is spot on. walk and talk is a bit stiff but it will wear in. blade lock is perfect. i wish all my other Buck lockbacks were that tight.

Around here the 110's always seem to be out of stock.

Having both the USA and Mexican made sheaths, I prefer the latter. It seems to be of thicker leather and the knife fits more snug.

Would the thinner leather on the USA sheath be more likely to stretch? I would guess so.

I thought the USA sheaths would be the norm myself.
Maybe it's the pandemic....

I am of that mindset also, I like the regular 110's a lot, I can sit and play with them while breaking them in and watch a movie or surf the net. Kind of like breaking in a new baseball mitt.
