Is Buck still making the Marksman 830?
My original version has an issue and the blade will not lock open.
I tried to adjust the strap but it will not travel far enough to engage it.
I am hoping Buck has parts and is even open right now for repairs

I believe it is still a current model. I know skblades still is making custom marksman.
Either way Buck should be able to repair it. From what I understand the spa is open.

Thank you.
It isn't on their website, and we just recently moved to a new home, so I can't seem to locate my 2020 catalog

Go to Bucks website. There is a phone number and an email address for repairs.
Yeah, I was thinking I might call them tomorrow.
It had been a while since the last time I have sent one in for repairs, so not sure the current cost.
I believe it was whatever return shipping was at the time.

I got my Marksman 830 today through SkBlades. It’s the Inferno with orange g10. Wow this is a nice knife! It’s bigger than the vantage and flips open so easy and closes with one hand really smooth and easy. It’s fun just opening and closing it. I’ll post some pictures when the smoke jumper gets here. I also got the 104 Frontier alias compadre. SKBlades is awesome!

Straight from the 2020 catalog

Not on the Buck website doesn't necessarily mean discontinued. Usually just means not available for sale on their site.
Dealer supply comes first. If it's in the catalog, but not on Buck's site, just means they don't have the local retail inventory, or simply choose to not make it available.
The Talon is another example. I reached out to them a few weeks back about getting one and was told they were too far behind in its production at the moment.

I understand that it's in the catalog. This doesn't mean that Buck didn't subsequently decide to stop making it. The catalog is likely put together months before the year it represents.

Could be. But other knives on their site show as back ordered when they are out of stock. They're still on the site.
