Just saw this on the interwebs, I love the color! I'm happy that the Pioneer got upgraded to a Pioneer X, but if they really aren't offering the Cadet this year I'm a bit disappointed.

My Alox collection philosophy has been to buy all 3, carry and use the Pioneer, put the Classic on my keychain for the year, and save the Cadet.

I think a many collectors were slightly disappointed about not having the Cadet and Pioneer in the LE this year. I think it maybe nicer if Victorinox could add Pioneer X and Hunter Pro in addition to the current 3, instead of replacing some of them.

I agree! I likely would have bought all five.
 
I’m excited for this years pioneer x offering. Love the orange color. Wish they would of went ahead and included the farmer x. The decision to drop the pioneer and cadet does not matter to me ( I’ve never even owned a original pioneer or cadet, I want scissors on my SAKs) but I can understand how it upset some people.

I like the color. I’ll probably get the pioneer x. 2015 was my favorite so far and I’m still kicking myself for selling off the set. Luckily I saved a classic which is still on my keys.

I'm also happy about the Pioneer X. Adding the scissors will probably cause me to carry this one more.

The only model I have all 6 years for was the Cadet so that kind of bugs me a bit.
 
I’m disappointed as I grab the cadet ever year. That has been the consistent model. Some years I also got an additional model but only when I really like the color. This year I like seeing the X but I would have liked to get a cadet also.

Me too Buddy! Really bummed out over this. I don't think I will get any of them.
 
Placed my order for a couple of these gems. I hope Victorinox continues with the PX limiteds over the coming years, it is my most carried alox model.

That orange is pretty spicy, but I had to choose between it and a Victorinox 7/Harvester. That sweet hooked secondary blade decided things for me!
