With remington filing for bankruptcy last year, is it safe to assume that 2020 is going to be the last year of the bullet knife? I know they were made by buck and also i understand the remington is working on returning. Any thoughts about a bullet knife this year?

Was it Remington Cutlery or Remington Arms that filed bankruptcy?
It is my understanding they have been separate non-affiliated companies since 1946 or 1947 or so, when Remington Arms sold the cutlery division to PAL.

Hmmm, never thought about that but im inclined to think that you are right. Well i still havent seen anything about the 2021 bullet knife and it is usually out by now.

Bullet knives have been made by several different companies in the last 20 years, none of which have had anything to do with the firearms manufacturer, nor as far as I could tell, a knife division of Remington. Its all contracted out now. And the firearms manufacturer, or the brand anyway has changed hands several times too.

Give it a little time, someone will do one I'm sure, the name is too famous, too good of a sales point for someone to not be slapping it on a knife.

My understanding is that remington cutlery doesnt exist anymore. Remington arms (or parent company) contracts a company to manufacture the knives for them. There are several posts in here that go over the various companies that have manufactured them. It seemed to me the company that would be contracting buck to make them, is out of business. But we will see i guess.
