2023 Catalog

S90v/cf full size Freek! I'm in!

And the g10 tagged out looks promising as well! That mini adamas is tempting, too...

Narrows definitely caught my eye.

Hoping they bump up the hardness of MC after these first runs, like they've done with just about every steel.

Kudos for putting the month each will be released. That is a nice touch.

Lots of good looking stuff in there! Just wish there wasn't MAP so the pricing could be better. I'm sure I'll pick up a few throughout the year regardless.

Meh, I still don't understand why they put a non-stainless steel in an OTF. And why change the taggedout from a thumb hole to a thumbstud?

How is it that a company that had the exclusive rights to the Axis lock for so long couldn't figure out how to make a functional manual flipper in 20+ years, but now multiple companies have figured it out in the past few years?

They did that in last year's catalog too. I think they met less than 50% of those goals. The OM and Immunity families were supposed to be released this past summer, now they're part of the 2023 collection.

Good to know, thanks

Another thought: Why would you introduce Magnacut to the lineup and then put a coating on it!? It's probaby the most stain resistant steel currently in their lineup, let it shine!

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it looks like all the Magnacut has coatings on the blade, are there any that are uncoated?

Narrows is pretty epic. I have been carrying one for a while now. Its just so thin and smooth, tough to beat for and EDC.

I hope the novelties will come in 2023 and not like the Immunity more than 1 year later, does the knife already have a release date ? Pre-ordered it more than 6 months ago....

Interesting contrast as companies like Buck and Kershaw have their new models already made when they release them for the new year. Spyderco and Benchmade shoot for the stars and usually fall way behind. An entirely new model with intensive machining I could understand, but different colors of plastic and blade coatings take months; nearly the whole year to bring market? We have a weeks pay to spend on a knife Benchmade, hurry it up 🥱

The Tagged Out in G10 looks good. Don't understand why it has a thumbstud instead of the cutout though? I'd also need to see how it feels in-hand with that exposed lanyard tang - possible hot spot.

There are some real surprises in there. CLA in Magnacut has to be the biggest, but the CLA needed a steel update so it's a cool move going with Magnacut. Tanto Claymore. And especially that Mini Claymore. Very intriguing. I had hoped for a Taggedout in S45VN and green G10, and there it is. Satin Cruwear on the Mini Adamas is very welcome. A new knife in titanium! And they really shook up the colorways across the board. Nice job, Benchmade.
