any good idears Dan, for what kinda shield on it?Ohhhhh thanks, I didn't have any idea what was going on.
Probably a buck knife, for a neat twist.any good idears Dan, for what kinda shield on it?
I was thinking more in the realm of a c&b setup.....someone, can't remember who.....gave me that idear....Probably a buck knife, for a neat twist.
Not a normal poster in buck area but I do have a few. A little stockman is my travel carry knife. Dad carried one forever.I have a couple of GECs, but I gave up chasing them down. They sell them in such an odd way. Seems like 80% of knives for sale on the Forum are people trying to flip their GECs. It is too exhausting. It is bad enough missing a Buck Stealth Run but it seems every GEC release is a limited edition stealth run.
it's about time you were honest about your feelings.Honestly the Viper forum knife is nicer than the GEC’s
That was a nice one. Just not a blade I like to have alone. I still carry it occasionally. Lionsteel and viper both make a nice knife. But some folks like more traditional….I bought one. Nice to get my hands on a GEC once in a while. I do prefer my stockman knives on the larger size.

Yeah I remember pre covid a number of models like sodbusters and 38s would sit on shelves for months. If there was an interesting pattern sold out on DLT you could google it and still find it in stock at a small retailer. But I agree, aside from a few, they don’t make much I like it and they’re impossible to get. They don’t even release a calendar showing what’s in the pipeline anymore.I agree with this. I bought and sold them a bit before Covid when you could find some at dealers even weeks after release. Combined with the fact that they just don’t make many that appeal to me. And the weirdo stuff that seems to be ran quite often, while quirky, doesn’t interest me. So, I just grab the forum knives and lately they been sitting unused also.
